E-Counselling

What is e-counselling?

E-counselling is a secure exchange of very focused, very productive emails. Your privacy is protected through security similar to what is used by on-line banking services.

Who benefits from e-counselling?

  • People challenged by distance, mobility issues, or scheduling problems.
  • People who don’t want to leave their home because of Anxiety or Depression.
  • People who are caring for others in the home.
  • People looking for more affordable service.
  • People who want to ‘try it out’.

How does it work?

You sign up for a secure service, which will notify you at your regular account whenever you have a message. The service is private, encrypted and digitally signed- which means that you can always feel certain that email that says it is from me, is actually from me, and has not been altered by anyone else. Once you have a secure account I will have the same certainty that the message I receive has been written by you, and no one else.

What does it cost?

E-counselling is less expensive than office visits: $60 for one session.
What do I get for the fee?

The one hour fee covers:
1. your initial e-mail to me
2. my first response to you
3. your response back to me
4. my summary e-mail back to you

Payment is made via PayPal. If you feel ready to begin you should pre-pay for the first session, then visit https://IAC.privacemail.com to register and get your secure account.
